چکیده
Method From 2013 to 2015, 4 patients were presented with Taussig Bing anomaly. Among four, one patient had Taussig Bing anomaly and coarctation of aorta with 1 left circumflex and 2 right sided coronary artery, another had intramural origin of right coronary artery and left coronary artery, both of which were arising from left facing sinus. The third patient had an usual coronary pattern, and fourth infant had single coronary artery arising from the left anterior aspect of the aortic root.

Primary arterial switch operation as a strategy for total correction of Taussig-Bing anomaly: a 21-year experience.
BACKGROUND Studies of the arterial switch operation for Taussig-Bing anomaly demonstrate significant rates of reintervention and mortality, particularly after initial palliation to delay complete repair. We aimed to describe the long-term outcomes of our 21-year practice of single-stage arterial switch operation for all patients with Taussig-Bing anomaly. METHODS AND RESULTS A retrospective s...

BACKGROUND We reviewed our 20-year experience with arterial switch operation (ASO) for transposition of the great arteries (TGA) or double outlet right ventricle with subpulmonary ventricular septal defect (Taussig-Bing anomaly) to assess the early and long-term outcomes. METHODS Between January 1995 and December 2014, 139 consecutive patients who underwent ASO for TGA or Taussig-Bing anomaly...
متن کاملPrimary Arterial Switch Operation as a Strategy for Total Correction of Taussig – Bing Anomaly A 21 - Year Experience
Taussig–Bing anomaly is a rare congenital cardiac malformation, first described in 1949 by Helen B. Taussig and Richard J. Bing. The second most common variant of double outlet right ventricle, the anomaly was originally distinguished by a transposed aorta arising entirely from the right ventricle, a pulmonary artery overriding a ventricular septal defect (VSD), side-by-side great vessels, and ...

Results A total of 163 ASO procedures of all types were identified. The diagnoses were; TGA/IVA 88, TGA/VSD 53, TGA/ arch 5, TGA/VSD/arch 4, Taussig Bing 10, Taussig Bing/ arch 9, for a total of 169, ten patients underwent a staged repair in preparation for ASO of which 4 died. One died before intervention, one did not undergo ASO operation at our institution. Total mortality for all ASO proced...
متن کاملEvolution of risk factors influencing early mortality of the arterial switch operation.
OBJECTIVES The present study was undertaken to determine the independent risk factors for early mortality in the current era after arterial switch operation (ASO). BACKGROUND Prior reports on factors affecting outcome of the ASO demonstrated that abnormal coronary arterial patterns were associated with increased risk of early mortality. As diagnostic, surgical and perioperative management tec...
